Time-Based Age

Age in Weeks Calculator

Enter a date of birth to see the total number of weeks lived, alongside days, weeks, months and years.

About this calculator

This age in weeks calculator converts a date of birth into a running total measured in weeks — a different, more granular way of looking at age than the usual years/months/days. It's popular for birthday milestones (like a 10,000-day birthday), curiosity, or just seeing a big number that represents a life so far.

Alongside the headline figure, the results panel shows the same span converted into every other common unit — days, weeks, months, years, hours and minutes — so you can compare at a glance.

How it works

  1. Enter the date of birth

Pick the exact day someone was born.

  2. Calculate

The engine measures the exact number of calendar days between then and today, then converts that into weeks and every other unit.

  3. Explore the totals

Use the full breakdown to find round-number milestones — like your 1,000th week or 500-millionth second.

Frequently asked questions

How is the weeks total calculated?

It starts from the exact number of days between the date of birth and today, then converts precisely — for example weeks = days ÷ 7, rounded down to the last completed week.

Does it account for leap years?

Yes — the calculation is based on real calendar days, so every leap day between the two dates is automatically included.

Can I use a future date of birth to plan a milestone?

The date of birth must be in the past, but you can watch the totals climb toward a specific milestone by checking back, or do the reverse math manually from the totals shown.

Is the time-of-day taken into account?

No — the calculator works in whole calendar days, since exact birth time is rarely known. Hour and minute totals are estimates based on midnight-to-midnight days.
